Marc Watley

Marc founded Datacenter Trust along with Matthew Carmen in February 2010 and serves as Co-Founder & CEO.  Marc brings to Datacenter Trust a nearly 20-year history of success in business development, technology solutions delivery, project management, and key technology industry relationships.

Prior to co-founding Datacenter Trust, Marc worked for Ayuda Networks as Vice President of Channel Development & Markets, where he led channel sales initiatives, expanded service provider relationships, and new client development in the India market. Prior to Ayuda Networks, Marc was Channel Sales Manager for Brightpoint North America, where his efforts helped the mobile distributor scale its mobility VAR program in the US. Previously, Marc was Business Manager and Director Of Operations for American Wireless, where he led global business development initiatives and managed fulfillment programs for customers including Motorola, Nextel, Audi, BMW, and Mercedes-Benz. Before American Wireless, Marc was Director of Business Development at The Townsend Group, a successful boutique advertising agency. Marc also held positions at CellStar where he helped launch successful mobile handset fulfillment programs for Amazon and Leap Wireless; and also spent eight years with AirTouch (now part of the Verizon/Vodafone Group) focused on corporate account growth.

Born and raised in California, Marc lives in the San Francisco/Silicon Valley area. He is an active member of The Indus Entrepreneur, a global entrepreneur organization based in Silicon Valley where he also serves as Chair for Event Sponsorships as well as Exhibitor Committee Chair for TiEcon, one of the largest conference of its kind for entrepreneurs. Marc is passionate about family and friends, cooking, wine, travel, music, visual arts/design, technology, and Formula One racing.
